About Mindum articles

Who is behind the articles

Mindum publishes these articles. Mindum is an app to track and regulate emotions, energy, and focus.

The company address is 122 rue Amelot, 75011 Paris. The contact address is contact@mindum.app.

Articles carry the byline "Mindum". There are no ads and no sponsored content, and Mindum does not sell data.

How articles are made

Each article starts from named sources. Sources were read in full where access allowed. Where only an abstract could be read, claims are worded to stay within what the abstract says. Every claim is tied to a source and to an evidence label.

The evidence labels show how much support a claim has:

  • "Studies find" marks results reported by research studies.
  • "Research suggests" marks results that point in a direction but are less settled.
  • "One theory proposes" marks an idea that has been put forward and not confirmed.
  • "Some autistic adults describe" marks accounts of lived experience.

Each article also has a "What this does not show" section. It lists what the sources leave open.

Drafting and several review steps use AI tools. There is a source check, a review for tone and safety, a clinical-perspective review and a lived-experience-perspective review. These last two are done by AI roles. They are not a human clinician and not a person with lived experience.

Human reviewers are being sought. An article will say it was reviewed by a person only after that review has happened.

Articles are general information. They are not medical advice and they do not diagnose.

Corrections

A mistake can be reported at contact@mindum.app. A link to the article and the sentence in question help with finding it.

When a report is right, Mindum fixes the claim, softens it or removes it. A dated line is added to the article in this form: "Corrected on [date]: ..." The "Updated" date of the article changes too.
